MFA

 Hi Talent,

The Screen Performer Training is looking forward to bring new faces / talents to the local and the International TV/film audiences yearly.   I hope that will include you.  The short intensive training, which will award new talents between the ages of 18-30 for 2014 on to our screens, is starting by 16th December 2013 through to 6th April 2014.

The MFA – ACTING CAMP 2014 which includes 48 days of training and project building, and also 48 days of filming and post Production, and confined to no more than 45 -50 participants from Ghana and Togo  in West-Africa, will be divided in to ten groups, and will come face to face with some experts in the art and mostly graduates/final year film making students from some renowned film schools in the world, to rock shoulders at a new location, focusing on the screen / television performance and the film art yearly.

You will learn all about screen impersonation, i.e. who does what and how you could be part of the film world / television production (performing arts).

In conjunction with our project partners and stakeholders we have made available the kit, the crew and the commitment to engross Talents in the techniques of being a great performer, knowing about and getting the touch of the props, cameras, autocue, lights and an earpiece (talkback).  You will interact with over 10 renowned moviemakers and 10 film school graduates/final year Film students from some prominent movie making Countries around the world.

Furthermore, we don't abandon you at the end of the day.  Advice will be given as part of the deal, most certainly for several weeks after your training on issues concerning writing and brightening up your CV and the creation of attractive PR (Public Relation) material. We have also designed a social website which seeks to advertise the pass out talents for decent links and possible job opportunities in the world of showbiz and literary related projects.

The Main Deal

All applicants will feature alongside some screen idols and some prominent guest performers from world stage in our proposed feature film project meant for the International market and handled by professional film makers and Film graduates.

Applicants are also awarded a certificate of participation and some incentives for playing a role in the film and the program few months after the project.

What does it cost?

MFA-Acting Camp 2014 is free as it is a sponsored project, the talent is expected to visit our website and download our forms free, complete it and submit   it at any of our regional centers.  See Summary for details.

The Training

We have been careful to ensure that the training equips you with what you will need in anticipation of any potential castings, auditions and filming.  It's so much better to arrive at an audition and say that you are comfortable with what goes on in a studio/location and can handle the kit and props too since Talents need some technical know-how which is why you must be a part of it.

We hope you'll come along and take your Screen performing ambitions one-step further.  It will be a noble step to take as the MFA Train moves from here to another destination yearly (this is to mean you may not have the train in your country in a very long while) because the project is designed to be hosted by two African countries each subsequent  year. Visit: our website from 16th December 2013 to download your forms and register your details.
